The panorama at night was even more beautiful. I painted this night-view on a canvas and cut it into thirty-three slices. Thirty-three bracelets were made for my local friends before leaving Tokyo. Luckily none of them were big, they just knocked my dishes. I created two neckpieces later in the memory of the porcelain items destroyed by devastating earthquakes. To make them I smashed two soup bowls and torn table napkins. I tried reassembling the items form the rubble using wire and silicone. The result was chaotic and dramatic, just like the result of a large earthquake. People cannot be perfect. The foam-figures are the typical salarymen of Japan. This is my small revenge on them for being squeezed on the packed underground every morning.
